Sierra's 18-5479 Flame-Thrower Electronic Distributor designed for use in GM Small Block and Big Block V8 engines with a standard deck height. Designed with reverse rotation and integrated patented Ignitor II technology with adaptive dwell control. Use with Sierra's 18-5266 Tune Up Kit. Compatible with most capacitive discharge ignition boxes. Compensates for inherent electronic delay. Synchronized peak current and spark timing reduces head build-up. Furnished with cobalt magnets, Hall Effect trigger, non-vented distributor cap equipped with stainless steel fasteners, triple screen spark arrestor, and magnetic triggered billet distributors designed to meet or exceed SAE J1171 Standards.
