Southwire's Automatic Transfer Switch transfers to generator power automatically when energized after a 30 second delay. When both shore power and generator power are available, the generator dominates after a 30 second delay. Once the generator is shut down, shore power activates after a 3-4 second delay. The switch offers a dual contactor arrangement with mechanical interlocking contactors, and a time delay at power up. The switch does not provide surge protection. UL/CUL listed.
