Sierra's 18-6012 Zinc Anode is designed for use with Mercruiser R, MR, Alpha I (Stern Drive and Transom Assembly 1983-1990) and prior drives. It is also designed for use with Alpha I, Gen II (1991 & Up) engines. This anode will not work with Black Max or other high rake propellers. Constructed of zinc material. Zinc should be used for saltwater applications only. Includes one zinc anode per package. It is interchangeable with GLM 12740 and Mercruiser Stern Drive 34127, 34127A1, 34127A2, 34127T1, and 34127T2. Each Sierra product meets or exceeds the original equipment part it replaces.
