Shieldsflex II Marine Water/Exhaust Hose has a black synthetic rubber tube and cover. It is reinforced with wire helix imbedded between plies of HD synthetic cord. It is resistant to exhaust fumes, ozone, mild chemicals, antifreeze and saltwater. This hose is abrasion and odor permeation resistant.
Double the ozone resistance required by the SAEJ2006.
The hose meets SAE J2006 Type R2 standards
Can be bent into Gradual Radius: (Flexibility 2)
Designed to give Excellent Service for: Straight Pipe Connector Less than 4 x I.D. of Hose, Straight Pipe Connector More than 4 x 1.D. of Hose, Require Moderate Bend
Product can give Good service with proper installation, may not be suitable in all Applications: Severe Bend
