Lucas Marine Grease is a premium, extreme pressure, multi-purpose, heavy duty OBCS grease containing unique polymers, anti-wear agents and tackifiers with inherently superior corrosion resistance, resistance to water washout, and mechanical stability. Due to these properties, it is ideally suited for marine applications where these important properties are intrinsic to the grease and not the result of fortification with additives. Additionally, Lucas Marine Grease has excellent load-carrying capacity and resistance to oxidation. It contains no heavy metals (e.g. lead, arsenic or antimony) or other environmentally harmful additives such as phosphorus, chlorine or zinc and meets NLGI Certification GC-LB. Contains special adhesive properties that allow the grease to stay in place. Provides extreme pressure properties with Timken OK load of 65 pounds with a Dropping Point of 570 °F. Distinctive blue color differentiates this product from other greases. Lucas Marine Grease is perfect for boat trailer chassis lubrication, boat trailer wheel bearing lubrication, boat overdrive/outboards, boat steering linkage. Excellent for use in automotive, trucking and heavy-duty applications. NLGI rated GC-LB, NLGI #2. Environmentally safe in fresh water and salt water. Not recommended for centralized dispensing systems requiring NLGI consistency number of 1 or less.
