The Evinrude, Johnson, and Gale Outboard Motors CD2 5 PIN (113-4783) is a high-quality ignition control system for outboard motors. A complex ignition module and inductive ignition coils make up the ignition control system. The inductive ignition technique generates just enough energy to cross the spark gap, with the remainder being used to keep the spark going. This lengthy spark duration enables complete combustion of the air/fuel mixture, improving engine performance, lowering emissions, and extending the life of the spark plugs. It also has two-cylinder engines that don't require an RPM limiter and a two-wire trigger sensor. The Power Pack is like the brain of the ignition system.
