Attwood's newest pedestal system features a bigger, beefier 2-3/8" diameter post design that allows you to meet the most stringent ABYC H-31 requirements with a minimum of components. Which means reduced inventory and installation costs. Boaters will see advantages, too - they can interchange seats and seat pedestals anywhere on the boat. Fixed length posts feature Anti-Rotation locking pins. These stainless steel pins allow pedestals to meet ABYC 150 ft.-lb torque test for Type A Driver seating. Improved auto lock design minimizes wobble and ensures easy installation and removal from base plate.
