Sierra's 18-9904 Fault Finder is used for tracking and tracing open and short circuits, broken wires, and current leaks. Operates on 6 to 42 VDC systems. No wire piercing is required. Features an 8" flexible probe for reaching wires in congested places. Tracing of wires possible even inside bundles or conduits and behind panels, carpets, etc. Transmitter and receiver LEDs show open or short circuit conditions. Variable audio/visual signal provides fast and intuitive feedback on the circuit/wire proximity. Adjustable sensitivity for all tracing situations. Transmitter has auto polarity and leads with 5A alligator clips. The package includes a transmitter, receiver, fuse block adapters (3 sizes: mini, ATO, and maxi), cordless circuit tester, hard padded carry/storage case, and a user's manual.
