Sierra's 18-5470 HEI Distributor Kit is designed for use in Mercruiser GM V8 engines with Thunderbolt IV and V Ignition. Provides battery powered (HEI) High Energy Ignition. Uses a Hall-Effect type sensor to trigger ignition accurately even at extremely low RPM. Designed as a direct replacement for Mercury Thunderbolt IV Ignition Distributors. Use with Sierra's 18-5273 Tune Up Kit. The package contains: (1) 18-5116-1 Ignition Sensor, (1) 18-5395 Distributor Cap, and (1) 18-5431 V8 Rotor Assembly. This kit is interchangeable with GLM 71250 and Mercruiser Stern Drive 805185A16, 805185A26, 805185A36, 805185A43, 805185A6, 862057A4, 90747A21, 90747A25, 90747A27, and 90747A3.
