Sea Star Solution's Seal Kit includes various seals necessary for safe boating. It includes O-ring, Water pump shaft seal, Oil Seals, Washers, and Upper Gearcase gaskets. O rings mandate is to seal a joint between two items so that no air, gas, or liquid can flow through. The water pump shaft seal permits the rotating shaft to enter the pump's "wet" section without spilling fluids. Oil seals are used to protect the shafts and bearings against dirt and foreign object ingress as oil or grease outflow. Washers aid the fill/drain plug in capturing particles and preventing them from passing through the gear mesh or bearings.
