IGINITION COIL - YAMAHA 18-5128 its purpose is to boost a watercraft battery's low current to a level where the fuel can ignite to start the engine. It has two partially segmented circuits. The low voltage primary circuit's responsibility is to generate and send the signal required to precisely and timely ignite the spark plug. The battery voltage is utilized for operation (12 to 14.5 volts). One spark could be enough to ignite the water-powered engine.
