Sierra's 18-2157 Shift Cable Assembly uses the 18-2160 Support Tube (included). This assembly is designed for use in Mercruiser #1 drives (s/n 6225577 & Up) for AFT installation into bell housing. Designed for Mercruiser MC-I, R, MR, Alpha I, and Alpha Gen II drives (1978 & Up). It features old style stranded core wire with a soldered tip. Interchangeable with Mallory 9-72160, GLM 21710, and Mercruiser Stern Drive 19543A10, 19543A2, 19543A4, 19543A8, 41951A1, 66065A1, 66069A2, 73679A2, and 865436A02. Each Sierra product meets or exceeds the original equipment part it replaces.
